Arsenal have potentially received a boost in their pursuit of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace despite interest from Spurs.
The Gunners are currently embroiled in a transfer battle with their North London rivals Tottenham to sign Eberechi Eze, who was one of the best attackers in the Premier League last season for Palace.

Spurs are hoping to sign Eze to replace James Maddison, who suffered a major injury recently. However, the Gunners want him to add to their depth up front, and help provide Mikel Arteta with a squad capable of winning the Premier League.
Eze has a £68m release clause, and it has been reported that Arsenal will only make a move for the England international once they have made at least one player sale. However, according to recent transfer news, a potential swap deal is emerging that could help their pursuit of Eze.
Arsenal could offer Kiwior in Eze swap deal
Reports earlier in the week suggested that Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior for a potential transfer this summer. That is because Liverpool are currently working to sign Marc Guehi, and Palace will need to find a replacement for their captain if he leaves.
Kiwior would be a suitable replacement for the Eagles. He stepped in admirably last season for Arsenal when Gabriel was out with a hamstring injury later on in the season, including against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Because of Palace’s interest, Arsenal could use Kiwior as part of a deal for Eze, which would kill two birds with one stone. Seeing as the Gunners want to sell before signing Eze, they could cheapen the deal by adding in Kiwior.
It is understood that a price of around £25m would be enough for Arsenal to sell the Polish defender, and so they could offer Kiwior plus £43m, and that would fulfill the value of Eze’s release clause. Both sides would win, as Palace would get their Guehi replacement, and Arsenal would beat Tottenham to Eze’s signature.
