Club tying up final details for Fulham man – Could play today then depart

Atalanta are currently tying up the final details of a move for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz, with them now making one ‘final rush’ to get it done.

That’s [according to Prima Bergamo,](https://primabergamo.it/atalanta/ultimi-incastri-per-muniz-convocato-dal-fulham-poi-avanti-con-lesterno-sinistro/) who report that there are final details to be worked on between the two clubs.

According to their information, the Fulham striker is expected to move to Bergamo for a fee between €43-45m. Fulham are already on the hunt for a replacement.

Muniz is very much still a part of Marco Silva’s squad, though, and he could even start against Brighton and Hove Albion today before then departing for Italy.

All the signs are positive for Atalanta as far as they’re concerned, with the general feeling that Muniz is ‘engaged’ to the club despite final details needing to be worked out with Fulham.

His arrival at Atalanta will set a new record at the club. They’ve never paid such a figure for a player. In fact, if the deal is confirmed at the prices currently being mentioned, he will be the largest single deal in Serie A so far this summer.

For now, the focus is on closing the final details with Fulham and getting the big deal done and dusted.
