Real Madrid Castilla midfielder Thiago Pitarch has signed a contract extension with the club, one which will keep him with Los Blancos at least until the summer of 2030. Pitarch announced this contract extension on his social media, but the club have not published an announcement just yet.
Pitarch is expected to make Real Madrid’s list for Tuesday’s season opener against Osasuna, so he will not play for Castilla on Sunday, according to a report published by El Chiringuito.
The young midfielder could play some minutes with the first team this season, given that Real Madrid don’t have a lot of depth in the midfield line. It’s clear that coach Xabi Alonso appears to like his profile and his quality, but it won’t be easy for him to crack the rotation in what’s expected to be a very long and demanding season for Real Madrid.
