Pallacanestro Trieste has officially signed a former NBA champion, announcing the signing of experienced Mexican forward Juan Toscano-Anderson.
The 32-year-old brings a wealth of NBA experience, having won a championship with the Golden State Warriors in 2022.
After his championship run, Toscano-Anderson had stints with the Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, and Sacramento Kings. Most recently, he played for Capitanes de Ciudad de México.
Now, Toscano-Anderson is set to take his talents to Italy, joining a Trieste squad led by coach Israel Gonzalez.
The team is preparing to compete in the FIBA Basketball Champions League, with Toscano-Anderson expected to play a key role.
Last season, Toscano-Anderson averaged 17.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game, showcasing his ability to impact both ends of the floor.
