Newcastle United fans make their feelings clear on Alexander Isak with two chants directed at the wantaway striker.
The supporters showed warm support to the NUFC players on the pitch at the final whistle, after they played out a slightly frustrating 0-0 draw against ten-man Aston Villa in the Midlands. And while the Magpies were the better team almost exclusively, they laboured slightly in front of goal, struggling to really carve open the opposition at will, despite Ezri Konsa’s red card with around half an hour to go in the encounter.
And having watched the players give their all at Villa Park, the travelling fans were vociferous in their support for those wearing the shirt on the day. However, as they turned their backs to head off the pitch, the fans took the opportunity to vent their anger towards Isak.

As Howe led his players back to the changing rooms, the chants turned from support for the lads who bothered to turn up, to anger towards the one who didn’t.
Newcastle fans broke into a chorus of ‘There’s only one greedy b-st-rd.” It was not a quiet minority and rang around Villa Park loud and proud - sending the message that as much as Howe is keen to keep the door ajar for Isak, the fans want it slammed shut, or at least those at Villa Park did.

The fans then mad their feelings known again soon after with another chant at Isak. This one, recycled from an old Mike Ashley dig.
They sang: “We don’t care about Isak, he don’t care about me, all we are about, is NUFC.”
