Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers is one of the most explosive and unstoppable offensive players in the NBA.
Still, there are certain skills and tricks from other players that he wishes he had.
He was recently asked which signature move he wants to add.
“I would take Dirk Nowitzki’s fadeaway as a signature move,” Doncic said, via Courtside Buzz.

Even years after his retirement, people still talk about Nowitzki’s legendary fadeaway shot.
The way he would move, the way he’d slightly kick his leg up, the way he’d casually shoot the ball from distance, and it would still always find the bucket.
It was a sight to see, and it helped the Dallas Mavericks win many games and become champions.
It’s no surprise that Doncic chose his move as the coveted one, because he is close friends with Nowitzki.
They have built a deep relationship and have been close since Doncic’s rookie year.
Also, Doncic has attempted the Nowitzki fadeaway before, although he doesn’t do it regularly and may not pull it off every single time.
No one can do it like Nowitzki can.
Of course, Doncic has a deep bag of tricks that are all his own.
So while he may want to perfect the fadeaway shot, he doesn’t need it to remain one of the greatest shooters in the league.
Doncic has created so many amazing circus shots and buzzer beaters that are often unbelievable.
Even without Nowitzki’s fadeaway, Doncic is still a sight to see on the court.
