Manchester United could still have a busy couple of weeks ahead of them in the transfer market despite a recent update on Carlos Baleba.

United have been heavily linked with signing the Brighton midfielder - this summer - as they look to continue their squad rebuild. Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have all been signed by United, and there is the potential for more new arrivals to come.

Baleba has been mentioned as a target for United - although the Seagulls are reported to value the midfielder at more than £100million. As a result, The Athletic reported that United have decided not to pursue a deal for Baleba this summer.

However, if the fee is the reason why United are choosing not to sign Baleba this summer, could the club receive millions of pounds from player sales to help raise funds for a deal for the midfielder? A host of players in Ruben Amorim's squad have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford this summer and have two weeks left to go to make that a reality.

Alejandro Garnacho continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea this summer. There have been suggestions that United might be willing to accept a fee between £60million and £70million for the Argentina international, but that remains to be seen at this stage.

Antony is also being heavily linked with a switch away from United. It has been relatively quiet on the permanent front, though, with continued rumours of another loan to Real Betis being on the cards.

United would need to receive £32.58million in order to avoid making a loss on the Premier League's PSR rules.

Rasmus Hojlund could also be on the move before the transfer window closes. AC Milan have been heavily linked with signing Hojlund with United seeking around £30million for the striker this summer.

Jadon Sancho could also be on the move this summer, with Chelsea opting not to pay their £25million obligation to buy clause in the loan deal from last season. Roma have recently been linked with signing Sancho - while there has also been interest from Juventus and Inter Milan.

Tyrell Malacia has also expressed a desire to leave United this summer, though it remains to be seen what fee the club would seek to sanction a permanent exit before the September 1 deadline.
