Leeds United make their Premier League return on Monday evening after storming the Championship last season.
The Whites got off to a very exciting start the last time they were promoted to the Premier League as they played out a 4-3 loss to Liverpool at Anfield back in 2021/22.
Now, it’s the Reds’ Merseyside rivals, Everton, who face Leeds in their first game back in the top-flight, and this should be a spicy fixture to say the least.
Indeed, there are plenty of sub-plots to get into ahead of this match, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has just joined Leeds after leaving Everton earlier this summer, while Jack Harrison is back at Leeds after a loan spell at Everton.
On top of that, Jack Grealish has a history with Leeds fans as well and he’s just joined Everton.
This game is a difficult one to predict, but speaking to The Mail, Peter Crouch has now shared which way he thinks this one will go.

Peter Crouch predicts Leeds vs Everton
Crouch was asked to predict each of the games in this opening weekend of Premier League action.
The pundit wasn’t afraid to put his neck on the line when prompted to predict most of these results.
However, when it came to Leeds vs Everton, Crouch couldn’t quite pick out a winner.
Crouch ultimately tipped this match to be a draw, and given the relative strength of both teams and the atmosphere at Elland Road, that isn’t a bad shout.
Leeds’ recent record vs Everton
Leeds United and Everton are two of England’s most historic clubs, but after spending the best part of the last 20 years in the second tier, these two teams haven’t played one another all that often as of late.
In the last 10 years, these two teams have only met on six occasions, and, more often than not, Everton have come out on top.

After finishing strongly under David Moyes last season, Everton may feel confident heading into this match, but any team that travels to Elland Road this season may have a tough time if the crowd gets up for it, and on the opening day, the Leeds fans will be as ravenous as ever.
