Leeds United have been handed a transfer concern over a possible move for Leicester City full-back James Justin, with the defender suffering an injury in the Championship clash against Preston North End.

As reported by LeedsLive this week, the Whites are in advanced talks over a possible transfer for Justin. They have also held talks over a move for midfielder Bilal El Khannouss, but that has not yet progressed.

Crystal Palace are the latest team to be linked with an interest in the Morocco international. It’s reported that they’ve made an approach to Leicester about the player as a possible replacement for Eberechi Eze, who is linked with a move to Tottenham.

Despite the links with a move away from from Leicester, both players were named in the starting line-up for the Championship clash away at Preston on Saturday afternoon. Justin also wore the captain’s armband.

El Khannouss struggled to get on the ball and impact the game in the first half, and with the Foxes trailing 1-0 at half time, he was replaced by striker Patson Daka.

A second half change saw Justin move from right back to left wing back as Leicester searched for an equaliser. That equaliser came in the second half with Justin still on the pitch and pushing forward.
