Crystal Palace ‘approach’ Everton target amid Eberechi Eze uncertainty - Ornstein

With Everton looking to sign more additions to their attack this summer, Eberechi Eze’s move is disrupting David Moyes’ plans.

After months of trying to build a squad ready for the challenge ahead, Moyes has almost completed his transfer masterplan.

There are arguably still three more players needed, and the Scotsman continues to make the need for more additions clear.

With Leeds United now just two days away, it looks like the squad currently at the Everton boss’ disposal is what he will have come Monday, which might not be ideal for Moyes.

Frustration is building as Everton have missed out on Douglas Luiz, but another target could also be leaving the Toffees’ sights.

Eberechi Eze possibly joining Tottenham means Crystal Palace have approached Everton target Bilal El Khannouss

Bilal El Khannouss is a target for Everton as the Leicester City star, who’s been called ‘unbelievable’ by Michel Ribeiro, has been linked with a move away all summer.

This comes following his relegation from the Premier League last season, as many clubs are interested, with Leeds United also joining the Blues, but now Crystal Palace want to put their hat in the ring, according to David Ornstein.

The reason the Eagles are looking into a deal is because of Tottenham’s interest in Eze, which leaves Oliver Glasner’s side to include the Moroccan as an option, adding more competition to the Toffees’ pursuit.

Everton have missed El Khannouss’ £30 million release clause, so if they want to bid for the Foxes star, it might come with a higher price now.

Everton should look elsewhere with Bilal El Khannouss not a right-winger

Although the young winger possesses the attributes that Moyes needs, now might not be the time to look elsewhere.

With Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye in attack, the left-wing role and attacking midfield position have been filled, and instead, the Toffees should be looking at an out-and-out right winger.

There are possible options on the table, but these three seem like the potential candidates to fill the gap in Moyes’ attack.

Everton’s top right-wing options in the transfer window

One of these must be signed by the end of the summer to give the Blues any chance of competing in the top half of the table.

El Khannouss should be old news now, as Moyes sees a right winger as ‘priority’ and it’s clear they have options on the table.
