Everton remain keen to add more new faces in the transfer market despite a strong week or so of arrivals.
David Moyes will be delighted to see some attacking reinforcement added with the likes of Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
It has not all been good news at Everton, though. There have already been a number of injury issues on Merseyside.
The defence has taken a real beating over the last week, with Jarrad Branthwaite suffering a hamstring injury.
That is not the only issue as Vitaliy Mykolenko has sustained his own injury issue ahead of the game against Leeds United.
Looking to combat their problems, Everton are now eyeing a defender from Arsenal.

Everton eye Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior
Michael Keane signed a new Everton contract earlier this summer, which has seen the Blues add new faces in other areas.
Injuries are likely to see Everton return their focus back to adding another centre-back, though.

Sources close to the player have claimed the Toffees are joined by the following clubs in eyeing a potential deal for the 25-year-old:
Crystal Palace
Wolves
AC Milan
Juventus
Porto
The report cautions the statement, as Arsenal are believed to be offering Kiwior a new contract.
That is not the only player from north London that is on the radar, with Everton eyeing a move for Yves Bissouma from Tottenham Hotspur.
It could be an interesting last couple of weeks in the window.
What Mikel Arteta said about Jakub Kiwior
Last season, Kiwior was relied upon by Mikel Arteta following injuries at the back for the Gunners.
Kiwior made 17 appearances in the Premier League and 10 in the Champions League, which saw him receive big praise from Arteta.
“He [Kiwior] deserves a lot of credit because he hasn’t played too much throughout many months and suddenly he has been thrown into the most difficult context,” said the Arsenal manager.
“At the highest level, playing against the best opponents when you haven’t had the physical rhythm or the confidence to do it, and I think he’s been exceptional.”
With injuries already affecting Everton, the addition of Kiwior could prove a real coup.
However, he would surely be demanding guaranteed minutes if he was to leave north London before the end of the market.
