**It just wouldn't be a proper day in the world of Newcastle United without a new Alexander Isak rumour, would it?**
The Sweden international is set to be hit in the pocket after his no-show today as Newcastle United took on Aston Villa in the Premier League. Somehow, the 25-year-old has managed to avoid any repercussions from the club for his conduct this summer, but now that he's purposefully missing competitive games, the club are left with no choice but to issue the striker a fine.
In the meantime, speculation about his future continues to grow, and with Liverpool next up for Newcastle in the Premier League, there would preferably need to be some sort of resolution before the Premier League champions come to St James' Park a week on Monday night.
According to everyone's favourite football host, Richard Keys, there could now be a situation where Alexander Isak is neither a Newcastle nor a Liverpool player this season.

Richard Keys says Liverpool have made another bid for Alexander Isak
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Richard Keys has now told beIN Sports that Real Madrid are ready to come to the table for Alexander Isak after Liverpool have made another offer.
> _"I heard today that Liverpool have made a bid of £110m…a second offer of £80m now and £60m next season. But I’ve also heard that Real Madrid might be in the frame."_
At least we hope Keys is talking about two separate offers there; otherwise, he needs to get back to school.
Would you sell Alexander Isak to Real Madrid for less than we'd get from Liverpool?

Let's hope the Real Madrid rumours are true
-------------------------------------------
I very much doubt I'm the only one hoping that Real Madrid comes in with a solid offer and that, as long as it's somewhere near Liverpool's - it doesn't have to match it or be better than it, just has to be close - and Newcastle take it.
After the Newcastle fans inside Villa Park were heard chanting "There's only one greedy b\*\*\*\*\*d" at the end of the game today, there's clearly no way back for Isak at Newcastle, but we are fully ready to cut our nose off to spite our face on this one.
Sell Isak to Real Madrid even if Liverpool offers more. We'd much rather he went abroad than to a Premier League rival, and at this point, we'd rather he went to Sunderland than Liverpool. Well, that may be going too far, actually. I take that back.
