Everton may have just been handed a real boost in their pursuit of one of their summer targets.
Attacking additions have been top of the agenda for Everton over the last two weeks.
Now, David Moyes will be pushing for other areas to be added to, despite the ongoing interest in Tyler Dibling from Everton.
Monday night’s starting XI for the game against Leeds United will say a lot about where Moyes feels his squad is currently at.
Everton have shown interest in Douglas Luiz, but the Brazilian midfielder looks set to join Nottingham Forest.
There are other options on the radar of Angus Kinnear, though. And one of those players was left out of his manager’s squad earlier on Saturday.

Yves Bissouma left out of Tottenham squad amid Everton interest
On Saturday morning, it was reported that Everton were monitoring Yves Bissouma’s situation at Tottenham Hotspur.
Earlier in the week, Thomas Frank omitted Bissouma from the squad to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Super Cup, as a result of disciplinary issues.

Interest from Merseyside will have been put on alert after the Mali midfielder was left out of the Spurs squad again.
During his press conference on Friday, Frank admitted that Bissouma had served his internal suspension.
However, the £35m signing was nowhere to be seen in north London, with no spot for him in the squad to face Burnley.
A lot of Everton fans would like to see Everton sign Bissouma this summer, with the belief that he could really add something fresh to their current midfield options.
David Moyes would have to iron out Bissouma’s discipline issues
Clearly, Bissouma is a player who a lot of fans would like to see play at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The Mali midfielder played a huge performance in the Europa League final earlier this year, but he would arrive with a number of uncertainties.
Ange Postecoglou also suspended Bissouma for off-field disciplinary issues during his tenure in north London.
Whether Moyes would be willing to bring in a player with this record would remain to be seen.
