Manchester United wing-back Patrick Dorgu has hinted that he could be in-line for a start on Sunday afternoon when the Premier League returns.
United enter the new season tomorrow, at home to Arsenal, with expectations high. They struggled desperately in the Premier League last campaign after practically giving up on their domestic form to focus on the Europa League.
This would ultimately backfire as United lost 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in the competition's final in Bilbao, ensuring that they would be without European football this season. With their focus, now, solely on the Premier League and English cup competitions, there are no excuses for United to not improve drastically.
In the summer window, United have bolstered their attack with three new additions, while Diego Leon has been signed to provide cover at left wing-back. It seems that the Reds will be sticking with Leon's teammate Dorgu on the left flank for the start of the season, though, should his Instagram activity be anything to go by.
Posting on his story, Dorgu shared a custom match graphic for tomorrow afternoon's opener. While not a sure fire sign that he will be starting against the Gunners, players often share these posts on social media when they are all set to feature in some capacity.
It is seen as a subtle nod to family and friends to tune in for the fixture. 2025 has been a break-out year for Dorgu after he was signed from Lecce in January.

He made his debut on the right flank for the Reds in the FA Cup, but he soon transitioned on to the left. He would only miss two Premier League games following his arrival due to suspension and also featured heavily in the run to the Europa League final vs Tottenham.
