The Green Bay Packers faced off against the Indianapolis Colts in their second pre-season game of the season. With Jordan Love not playing after his hand surgery, Malik Willis got the start with many of the other starters getting a rest.
However, attention turned to one of their newest players in the second half when a scary injury occurred.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky:
Packers S Omar Brown, the Family Night hero, was carted to the locker room at the end of the third quarter.
Had an oxygen mask on and appeared to be holding his left midsection.
It was later revealed:
Per TV broadcast, Packers safety Omar Brown suffered a chest injury, which is why he was being carted to the locker room wearing an oxygen mask

The Green Bay Packers signed S Omar Brown on Jan. 13, 2025.
Brown (6-1, 205), a rookie out of the University of Nebraska, was originally signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024, but was released after training camp. He appeared in 52 games (37 starts) at Nebraska (2022-23) and the University of Northern Iowa (2019-21), recording 196 tackles (127 solo), three forced fumbles, 25 passes defensed and nine interceptions during his collegiate career.
Brown started eight games in 2023 and earned honorable mention All-Big Ten accolades after recording 51 tackles (35 solo) two forced fumbles, four passes defensed and an interception.
