Everton still need to strengthen a key area in their squad, and Jack Grealish should play agent to get a deal done.
With just over two weeks of the window left, David Moyes will know he needs to sign plenty more players.
Pre-season wasn’t the greatest for the Toffees, and ahead of their Premier League opener against Leeds United, worry might be setting in.
Moyes has explained the difficulty of the window, and it’s been frustrating at times, but the Blues hierarchy need more signings.
Now, one of their newbies in Grealish could play a pivotal role in Everton making a transfer they desperately need.

Everton should bid for Jack Grealish’s Man City teammate Rico Lewis after Nottingham Forest offer
The arrival of the Man City winger is great business from The Friedkin Group, but the winger could help contribute to another star Everton should sign.
Nottingham Forest have sent an ‘initial bid’ for City full-back Rico Lewis, according to Fabrizio Romano, with the 20-year-old looking for a more leading role elsewhere.

This should give the Toffees a heads up to go all in for the defender, who is looking very promising, but more to the point is that Everton need a right-back.
The amount of the bid is unknown, but The Friedkins’ ambition has already been shown with the likes of Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Pep Guardiola wanted Grealish to have game time due to the loan move, and maybe he might feel the same about Lewis, as the Toffees must at least try for the prospect’s services.
Rico Lewis would be the perfect versatile option David Moyes needs at Everton
Agent Grealish could play a role in this move, but why would Lewis be the perfect option for Moyes?
Well, the 20-year-old is looking like one of the more exciting talents in the Premier League, and if the opportunity is there for the full-back to move on, Everton could be the ideal environment with their new project and the excitement of the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Forest of course, have the appeal of European football, but already having a former Man City star could work to Everton’s favour, as Lewis’ quality would make him an instant starter, with Pep Guardiola labelling the 20-year-old as ‘exceptional’ in May 2023.
But more importantly, it’s the full-back’s versatility that is needed, as Everton have a right-back crisis which needs to be rectified, and although Lewis should be signed for that reason, he can also play in other areas.

The three positions Rico Lewis can play
Having a player like this would be vital for the Toffees’ season, as if any other injuries occur in other areas of the pitch, Lewis can make for the perfect alternative.
This is what is lacking in the Blues’ squad, as with Everton’s three current injury problems, Lewis can’t only kill two birds with one stone, but three.
