Ethan Nwaneri is the future of Arsenal.
The Hale End graduate became the youngest-ever player to make an appearance in the Premier League back in 2022. He came on as a substitute when he was just 15.
Nwaneri has since played 38 more games for Arsenal, and his performances at senior level have been nothing short of incredible.
Now, it looks like the Gunners are prepared to put all their faith in him.
Ethan Nwaneri will be delighted after hearing Arsenal’s stance on Eberechi Eze
Eberechi Eze is expected to be one of the biggest names in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.
The England international has been amazing for Crystal Palace over the years, but he is expected to move to a bigger club now.
Arsenal had a genuine interest in Eze, and fans of the Emirates Stadium club have been dreaming of seeing the Eagles star on the red side of North London.
However, TBR Football revealed that Arsenal’s move for Eze is off, as things stand, and that is great news for Ethan Nwaneri.

The reason why the Gunners are not pushing for Eze is that they already have Martin Odegaard, young Max Dowman and Nwaneri himself.
That suggests Arsenal are putting their faith in the 18-year-old and will give him plenty of opportunities in the upcoming campaign, which would not be possible if Eze joined the club.
As an Arsenal fan, Nwaneri would’ve likely loved Eze at the club, but personally, he will be delighted that the Gunners have all but decided against signing him.

Ethan Nwaneri tells Mikel Arteta he can play in five positions
Nwaneri is naturally an attacking midfielder, and he is expected to compete for a place in that number 10 role – that is why Arsenal are not going all out for Eze.
However, the 18-year-old can play in a number of other positions as well.
In the 2024/25 season, Nwaneri played on the right wing when Bukayo Saka was injured, and he played really well there.
Now, after signing his new contract, the youngster claimed that he can play in three more roles under Mikel Arteta – on the left flank, as a number eight and also up top.
He told Arsenal’s official website earlier in August: “I’m a very versatile player, so I think I’m going to play anywhere across the front five, and I’m ready to do what the manager needs.”
