Missing out on European competition next season hurt our pride.
Ruben Amorim took over in mid-season, but things did not change. However, in the summer of 2025, the club signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. Now, journalist Secan Dikme, via Sports Digitale, has reported that Beşiktaş have given Sancho time until the weekend to accept their offer. His time at Manchester United has been torrid, and now a new start could be his way out.

Sancho does not have much time to think. Beşiktaş are waiting, but if the answer is late, they will move on to another player. Roma have also made an offer, with the possibility of both a permanent deal and a loan. There have been no formal talks with Manchester United yet, but the tone is clear – Sancho has to move on from Old Trafford.
From our point of view, this is the last chance for the Englishman to save his career. Controversy, injuries, and poor form at United have taken the shine off him. A move to Beşiktaş or Roma would allow him to play regularly, and he can prove himself again. It is also beneficial for the club – Sancho’s leaving would provide financial relief and allow Amorim to bring in players who suit his strategy. Right now, Besiktas are the most realistic option for the English winger, and he has to take this into account
As fans, we want Sancho to regain his identity, but his early departure from the club is very much needed for us to clear our wage bill. The 25-year-old’s time is up right now, and with the form he has, along with the wages, no big club will realistically come up with an offer, and so it is in Sancho’s best interest to make a move to Beşiktaş, with the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the cusp. There were reports earlier that Dortmund want to sign him, and Sancho was even interested in taking a pay cut to move to his familiar ground, but we don’t think that will happen with the summer transfer window coming to a close, and Sancho risks spending the season on the sidelines.
