Josh Allen is usually the first quarterback off the board in fantasy football drafts. The Buffalo Bills quarterback may need to be the first overall pick in one fantasy draft after helping the league arrange its draft order.
Ahead of Friday’s joint practice with the Chicago Bears, Allen was spotted tossing the football back and forth with fans in attendance. Along the way, one fan pulled out a list of 12 participants in their fantasy football draft and asked the Bills quarterback to arrange the draft order.
Allen obliged and had just one question for the fan.
“What’s your name?”
After hearing the fan’s name was Luke, Allen assigned him the first overall pick in the draft.
Luke’s brother captured the moment on his TikTok account with the caption, “Josh Allen picked my brother’s fantasy football draft order.”
Fantasy football draft picks can be a bit of a crapshoot, but Allen has been as close to a sure thing as possible. The quarterback has finished first in fantasy scoring at quarterback in three of the last five seasons and has had a two-top finish at the position in the last four years.
Allen is the first quarterback off the board in standard ESPN and Sleeper drafts, according to FantasyPros.com. In Points Per Reception (PPR) leagues, Allen is going off the boards around pick 20. Regardless of what type of league Luke and his friends are in, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Allen go first overall.
