Tom Brady is a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. He's also a broadcasting analyst for Fox. Both of those things keep him very active in the NFL world despite being retired.
While he has not been very public when it comes to the Raiders, he has been rumored to be very involved with how the team is building. It has been awhile since Las Vegas was viewed as a legitimate contender in the AFC.
Entering the 2025 NFL season, there is hope that the Raiders will begin turning things around under new head coach Pete Carroll.
On Saturday, Las Vegas played its second preseason game. The team faced off at home against the San Francisco 49ers.
Brady made some waves with how he appeared when arriving for the game.
In a video shared by the NFL's official account on X, Brady was seen arriving to the game in an old-school white Raiders' coat.
That video drew a lot of fan reaction. It didn't take long for NFL fans to begin commenting about his appearance.
"Imagine showing a Raiders fan this in 2002," one fan said.
Another comment read, "Wish we got to see the shoulder pads and helmet version of this."
"They should put Brady on the depth chart... just in case," a third fan wrote.
A fourth comment stated, "As a kid from the Peninsula, this just isn't right."
"Could still drop 40 passing TDs," a fifth fan wrote.
Even though he's no longer playing football, Brady is still one of the most popular names in the NFL. His voice carries a lot of weight.
Seeing him rocking Las Vegas gear is still strange. Thinking that he's actually a part of the team's ownership group is wild as well.
It will be interesting to see how Brady's broadcasting career fares during the 2025 season as well. His first year was solid, but it was very raw with plenty of mistakes. Brady is a perfectionist and has undoubtedly been putting in lots of work on his craft this offseason.
Fans will surely be paying a lot of attention to Brady as the season gets underway. For now, this appearance was enough to create a buzz.
