Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel wants to make sure everyone knows he doesn’t have a beef with teammate Shedeur Sanders despite a heated QB competition in Cleveland.
Before his NFL debut on Saturday, Gabriel went viral when he told NFL Network that he considers himself a “competitor” and not an entertainer like other QBs.
Many felt like Gabriel was taking at Sanders and his flashy style.

Gabriel went on to have a solid preseason debut and was immediately asked about his pregame quote. According to Gabriel, he wasn’t referring to Sanders in his quote, but instead was talking about the media.
“All you in this room are entertainers, and you have a job do, and I respect it,” Gabriel told reporters. “I’m a competitor, so I have a job to do as well.”

He told us there are entertainers (hot take artists) and there are competitors (he and his fellow QBs) and he doesn’t… https://t.co/SuNFUFT1Zu
