Las Vegas Raiders host alumni reunion weekend at Allegiant Stadium

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Las Vegas Raiders hosted a special "Alumni Reunion" event, themed "Once a Raider, Always a Raider."

The event featured former players and their guests walking a 'silver' carpet on Saturday at Allegiant Stadium.

The reunion aimed to celebrate the enduring connection between the team and its alumni.

A private kicked off the event with a gathering on Friday evening at an exclusive location in Las Vegas.

The alumni convened at the Wynn Field Club inside Allegiant Stadium to watch the Raiders face off against the San Francisco 49ers.

The "Silver" carpet was rolled out for a star-studded event featuring notable alumni from the Raiders.

Among those scheduled to attend were Raiders President Sandra Douglass Morgan, along with former players such as Eric Allen, Marcus Allen, Tim Brown, Eric Dickerson, Jacoby Ford, Willie Gault, Ronnie Lott, Terry McDaniel, Donald Penn, Jim Plunkett, Kirk Morrison, Matt Millen, Jalen Richard, and Roland Williams.

The event celebrated the legacy and contributions of these distinguished figures in the world of football.

Fans filled Allegiant Stadium as the Raiders the San Francisco 49ers.

Jimmy Bang flew in from Sacramento and is an avid 49ers fan. He says, "I'm excited to be here; this is a great game. I went to the last game a couple of years ago on a regular season and "It's all about the experience."

Bang calls this the pre-season Super Bowl game.

Two Raider fans were decked out in black and silver. One fan says, "It's all about that Raider Nation." She says she is is excited about Pete Carroll's leadership with the organization.
