Regis Le Bris outlines Sunderland's transfer plans for remainder of the window

REGIS LE BRIS expects Sunderland to make “one or two” more signings before they complete their transfer business for the summer.

The [Black Cats](http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/sunderland) have already made 11 additions since the end of last season, and their new-look side got off to the best possible start as they crushed West Ham 3-0 at the Stadium of Light yesterday.

A 12th signing should be confirmed in the next 24 hours, with Sunderland having agreed a deal with Paris St Germain for defender Nordi Mukiele.

The Black Cats have agreed to pay an initial fee of £9.5m for the 27-year-old, who spent last season on loan in the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen, with a further £2.5m of potential add-ons also set to be included as part of the deal.

Mukiele is understood to have completed a medical at the Academy of Light, with his transfer set to be formally confirmed soon.

That will not necessarily be that in terms of incomings though, with Sunderland still hoping to bring in another attacking wide player before the window closes at the end of the month.

They had agreed a deal for Armand Lauriente, only to pull out of a move for the Sassuolo forward during their pre-season training camp in Portugal.

“We will have to see what happens,” said Le Bris. “It will probably be more attractive for players now!

“We have always said that we have to find the right players for the project. So far, I am really happy with the way the new lads are connected with the project. They showed that today.

“Maybe we still have to have one or two more players, we will see. If that is the case, then it will be exactly the same. They will have to be connected to what we are trying to do.”
