Wolves sold a total of 10 players last season but how did they all get on after leaving Molineux?
Wolverhampton Wanderers have sold a number of big name players in recent seasons, and last term was no exception as the Old Gold cashed in on nearly £100m worth of talent over the course of both the summer and January windows. This led to one of the most challenging seasons in the clubs recent history as Wolves dipped to 16th in the table, marking their lowest league finish since returning back to the Premier League in the 2017/18 season during Nuno Espirito Santo’s tenure as manager.
The Old Gold have been forced to cash in on talented assets due to the grim reality of PSR and their subsequent dip in the league table from a team that were once often seen as outsiders for a European place to one that would soon tip for relegation. Wolves have once again sold big players this summer with Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri both departing, but how have each of the players Wolves sold last summer fared after leaving the West Midlands.
