Leeds United have done some decent work to strengthen their squad since earning promotion to the Premier League at the end of last season. The Whites have brought in eight new recruits, but the club are looking to do more before the end of the window.
The Yorkshire giants focused on deepening their defensive and midfield resources early in the transfer window. But they are now concentrating their efforts to bring in more forwards, with the arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin on Friday expected to be the start of an overhaul of their attacking options.

Leeds are also looking to add one more winger, an attacking midfielder, a full-back and one more striker before the transfer window closes on September 1st. The club are working hard behind the scenes to set up a few deals.
The Whites are set to host Everton at Elland Road in their Premier League opener on Monday night, but the club’s recruitment team hope that Farke will have a better squad to work with at the end of the transfer window.

Leeds United handed a transfer boost in pursuit of Ermedin Demirovic
VfB Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic has emerged as a top target, and Leeds have already probed with a verbal offer worth £17m this summer.
The German club are only willing to negotiate a fee if a club are prepared to offer somewhere around £35m for the striker this summer.
Demirovic is considering his options, and are open to a transfer as he wants to play regular football in the starting eleven next season.
It has been claimed that the Bosnian’s future could be tied to what happens with Nick Woltemade, who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
However, Stuttgart have made it clear that Nick Woltemade will spend this season at the club, and an exit to Bayern Munich is no longer an option.
Stuttgart CEO Alexander Wehrle was quoted as saying by Fussball Transfers: “Nick Woltemade is our player and will play for us this year.
“The file is closed. Bayern Munich knows that. We have communicated this jointly.
“The matter is settled. Nick Woltemade will play for VfB Stuttgart next season.”
Demirovic is now expected to leave
With Woltemade set to stay, he is likely to remain the starting striker in the Stuttgart squad, and Demirovic is keen to have that mantle.
Leeds are ready to provide him with an exit route and move to Elland Road, where the Whites are ready to make him the first-choice striker.
Stuttgart want £35m from his sale, but Leeds hope that towards the end of the transfer window, the asking price will come down.
The Whites are also counting on the Bosnian to push for a move, which should give Stuttgart more reasons to facilitate his transfer out of the club.
