There were many poor showings from players in the Old Gold, with the likes of Jose Sa worrying Wolves fans with his performance.
There was also added drama, with Molineux welcoming back former players Matheus Nunes and Rayan Ait Nouri
The former has now added even more fuel to the fire with his latest post on Instagram, one that Wolves fans won’t be pleased with.

There appears to be no love lost between Wolves supporters and Matheus Nunes. The midfielder departed the club back in 2023, forcing a £53 million move to Manchester City.
It was a decision that infuriated fans, and ever since, Nunes has received hostile receptions when returning to Molineux.
Once again, throughout the match, Nunes was subject to boos from Wolves fans, and the midfielder seemed to hit back at the jeers.

The post is clearly a nod to the boos he received at the ground, and the taunt to his former supporters is only going to rile them up even more on any future visits to Molineux.
While Nunes’s reputation at Wolves is irreparably damaged, Rayan Ait-Nouri received a welcoming reception during the game.
