Manchester United Women Thrash Real Betis in Pre-Season Friendly

Manchester United Women struck seven first-half goals during their 8-0 Pre-Season Friendly win over Real Betis in Marbella.
Anna Sandberg fired home in the first minute, Celin Bizet quickly doubling the lead as the Reds made a strong start.
Melvine Malard the bagged a brace, winning possession before slotting away the first, then displaying a superb solo effort.
Bizet also doubled her tally on the follow-up from a shot by Elisabeth Terland, for whom she the turned provider via a free kick.
Julia Zigiotti Olme’s tackle led to Terland to scoring again, Academy player Jessica Anderson came off the bench to net the sole goal after the break.

Ipswich Town were 2-0 winners over Aston Villa U-21s, Natasha Thomas with two second-half goals and Sophie Peskett intercepting a pass out from the back as the lead was doubled.
Brighton & Hove Albion beat Crystal Palace 5-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Friday afternoon, at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre. Kiko Seike, Nadine Noordam, Marisa Olislagers and Bex Rayner were all on target, while Palace conceded an own goal.
Crystal Palace’s U-21s faired better with a 4-1 victory over visiting Welsh side, Connah’s Quay Nomads.
