Most of the pre-game chatter for our opening match of the season against Crystal Palace has been focusing on the defense, and rightly so with both Levi Colwill and Tosin Adarabioyo out (the latter getting reportedly ruled out well after this voting had commenced) and neither Wesley Fofana nor Benoît Badiashile fully fit, but there are some big decisions to be made up front, too.
That said, for the WAGNH Community, there was only one contentious call: which new winger would start alongside Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto, and behind João Pedro. By about two percentage points, the answer to that question is young Estêvão, who beat out Jamie Gittens 50-to-48.
Josh Acheampong (15%), Liam Delap (12%), and Malo Gusto (11%) were the only others players to score in the double digits. In the real world, Acheampong might have to deputize for Tosin, unless Enzo Maresca gets a bit more creative.
4-2-3-1 (77%)
Sánchez (94%) | Cucurella (99%), Chalobah (94%), Tosin (75%), James (95%) | Enzo (95%), Caicedo (99%) | Estêvão (50%), Palmer (99%+), Neto (85) | João Pedro (95%)
