Nottingham Forest will play Brentford this afternoon, looking to get off to a flyer and win their opening Premier League match of the campaign.
Not since promotion have Forest tasted victory in the first game of the season and hopefully, that can change today against the Bees.
Omari Hutchinson checked in at Forest on Saturday, with James McAtee also signing for the club ahead of the season opener at the City Ground.
Both players helped England under-21s retain their European Championship crown in the summer and will join Elliot Anderson in bolstering the talent pool.
After signing for Forest, McAtee received some praise from his former City teammates and one of them is extremely intriguing indeed.

Nottingham Forest target reacts to James McAtee transfer
Rico Lewis has been linked with a move to Forest from Manchester City and as a result, his message to McAtee is somewhat cryptic.
Lewis started for City as they thrashed Wolves 4-0 on the opening day, but with Pep Guardiola wanting a smaller squad, a move could be on the cards.
After McAtee was announced, Lewis said on McAtee’s announcement video on Instagram, ‘All the best, brother’, with the defender rising through the ranks at the same time as the youngster.
MORE FOREST STORIES
McAtee won’t be available to play for Forest today after missing the deadline to sign in time, but nonetheless, it looks like an exciting addition for the future.
Lewis would be excellent Forest signing
Lewis signing for Forest would mean another exciting youngster checking in at the City Ground and it’s a signing that the fans would get behind.
Lewis has been a regular in the City team over the past 12 months and scored City’s first goal in a 2-0 win over Forest in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley last season.
Forest desperately need some new full-back options and it would appear that the Reds are going full steam ahead to try and bring Lewis to the club.
Clearly, Lewis is big pals with McAtee and that could bring some chemistry on the pitch for Forest if the club can prise another City youngster away from the Etihad Stadium.
