Real Mallorca boss Jagoba Arrasate was not happy after seeing his team beaten 3-0 by Barcelona on Saturday and have two players sent off.
Raphinha opened the scoring before Ferran Torres made it 2-0. Arrasate was furious about the second goal as he felt the game should have been stopped as Antonio Raillo appeared to have suffered a head injury.
”We’ve all seen that incident, and last week they explained it to us in the debriefing. If there’s a blow to the head, the game stops,” he said afterwards.
“We all thought he blew the whistle and he gives a goal; I don’t quite understand. He came over, I appreciate that, and he says Raillo wasn’t dizzy, even though you don’t know that.
”Above all, we complain about the criteria. You’ve seen the game, it wasn’t the same, and it p*sses you off, it grates on you. I want to see if the same thing happens in the following matches. When you feel like that, it’s hard to keep quiet; these are things we have to learn for the future.”
Hansi Flick was also asked about the incident and did have some sympathy for Mallorca, although he also insisted the players should have played to the whistle.
