**Lucas Bergvall heaped praise on his team-mate Richarlison after his double helped Spurs to a 3-0 opening day win over Burnley.**
[The Brazilian scored two fantastic goals to get new boss Thomas Frank off to a winning start](https://hayters.com/richarlison-was-exceptional-says-frank/) in the Premier League, and midfielder Bergvall says he has been hugely impressed by what he has seen from the striker after a difficult spell with injuries.
“Yeah, unbelievable,” Bergvall said.
“Richy has been really good in the pre-season and today. So against PSG as well, even though he didn’t score, he was really good, strong and today he got two goals.”
Next up for Spurs is a trip to Manchester City, who thrashed Wolves 4-0 in their first game of the campaign.
But Bergvall says he has high hopes for this season.
“We take every game at a time,” he said.
“Of course, we want to reach the Champions League, of course. We want to win everything, but every week is a new game, so we take it one at a time.
“We know what we can do. We have a really, really good squad, so we know what we can do.
“Last year, we won 4-0 away, but it’s still a really tough game, so we need to go there and be ready.”
