West Ham are being backed to take Yves Bissouma from Tottenham after a disappointing start to the Premier League.
Bissouma did not feature in Tottenham’s 3-0 victory against Burnley on Saturday, 17 August.
This seems to be a clear message from Thomas Frank that the Mail international is not in his plans.
Bissouma’s career in North London looks to be at the point of no return. But his fortunes could change now that he has entered the Hammers’ radar.

Bissouma could sign for West Ham after sidelining at Tottenham
Frank sidelined Bissouma during Spurs’ defeat to PSG earlier this week. But he was expected to appear for Frank during Tottenham’s Premier League opener.
However, like most things in life, things did not pan out as expected.
West Ham have been linked with Bissouma throughout the summer. The Hammers are thought to be keeping a close eye on his situation at Hotspur Way.
An offer for the defensive midfielder was not expected anytime soon. But a humiliating 3-0 defeat to Sunderland on Saturday may have altered their plans.
Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes that West Ham could make an approach for Bissouma towards the end of the window.
“You’d think that maybe West Ham would look at Bissouma,” Wenham said.
“I know they need a midfielder. Graham Potter got the best Bissouma we’ve seen in English football out of him at Brighton. Now the clubs are doing deals again. I do wonder if they come in for him late.
“Somebody should take him later on. He’s very experienced. You’d think that someone would take him. So we’ll have to wait and see on that one as well.”

Would Bissouma be a huge miss for Tottenham?
In short, no.
Bissouma was excellent for Tottenham in the UEFA Europa League final against Manchester United last season. But throughout his Spurs career, he has proven to be unreliable and inconsistent.
Rodrigo Bentancur has slotted into that defensive midfield position since the Mali international was sidelined. He has done a pretty good job for Frank during pre-season.
Archie Gray is another option in the defensive midfield
The transfer of Palhinha on loan makes Bissouma’s continuation for Tottenham less vital
On the field, the defensive midfielder has disappointed. But he has done so more off the field. Bissouma’s discipline saw him sidelined under Ange Postecoglou and now Frank.
With everything to gain this season, there seems to be no world where Bissouma fits into this current Spurs team.
