Leeds United could potentially be affected in their bid to sign Leicester City right-back James Justin this transfer window.
The 27-year-old has been a key player for the Foxes over the years and was one of their standout players last season despite getting relegated from the Premier League.
Justin is being linked with a move to Elland Road, and the Whites are closing in on an agreement for the England international to bolster their backline.
However, the West Yorkshire outfit’s approach for the right-back may have been jeopardised after developments at the East Midlands club.

Hamza Choudhury replaced the 27-year-old in the 77th minute in the 2-1 loss at Deepdale, with Marti Cifuentes revealing the medical department is assessing the extent of his fitness issues.
If the knock is “serious”, the Whites could pull out of a move for the English defender, according to LeicestershireLive.
Justin joined Leicester for around £8million from Luton Town in 2019.
The 27-year-old seems to have overcome his previous ACL issues.
As things stand, the defender’s current contract expires next year.
It’s been claimed that the Leicester captain may end up staying put at the King Power Stadium despite interest from Elland Road.
Justin could provide Leeds with a much-needed quality option at right-back to challenge Jayden Bogle for a place in the starting lineup.
Supporters in LS11 will surely keep an eye on how the Englishman’s situation at Leicester develops in the coming days.

Daniel Farke to block Elland Road exit this summer
Daniel Farke wants a replacement for Isaac Schmidt before letting the Switzerland international leave before the end of August.
With just around two weeks left in the ongoing transfer window, Leeds could potentially need to look for alternative targets if Justin’s injury keeps him out for a considerable period.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the German manager block Schmidt’s exit at the Whites if the Leicester right-back can’t be signed.
The 25-year-old Swiss defender may have to stay put at Elland Road at least until the winter transfer window, but it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
