Luis Guilherme was not available yesterday after breaking his collar bone, it has been reported by ExWHUEmployee.
Following what was an awful opening day of the season for West Ham yesterday, with the side collapsing to a 3-0 defeat to the newly promoted side – one question was surrounding the absence of Guilherme from the squad.
Reporting on The West Ham Way Patreon, our insider Ex has revealed this current situation.
“We can exclusively reveal that Brazilian teenager Guilherme missed the Sunderland game with a broken collar bone,” stated Ex.
“The injury was picked up in training and is a real blow as he has been looking good in preseason. The source went on to say that ‘It is hopefully not too bad’.”
Ex also advised on the reaction to the defeat in terms of the summer transfer window, and what the current situation is with it clear that the club must act and get the squad in better shape.
“We then pushed on whether we can expect any players in or out this week, the source said ‘HOPEFULLY in and out, but I can only do what manager & Kyle want’,” added Ex.
“We will keep you updated with who we believe these moves to be at the latest on the Podcast tomorrow.”
