Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace, Premier League: Confirmed lineups; how to watch

Getty Images

Welcome to the first day of the brand new Premier League season. It feels like last season ended just yesterday.

It’s been a busy but also a rather successful summer, and we’re riding high on the wave of momentum and vibes from the Club World Cup. It’s now 14 wins in our last 16 in all competitions, so let’s keep that going.

The defense has been hit with a few injuries, so Enzo Maresca has given young Josh Acheampong a chance to make a positive impact. Otherwise, it’s as expected. The bench is young and exciting, and also contains a Wesley Fofana.

Contrary to rumors, both Guéhi and Eze start as usual for Palace.

Here we go!
