Man Utd star working alone at Carrington today after omission from squad v Arsenal

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is not available to play against Arsenal today as he has not been included in the matchday, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein.

The Red Devils star has trained just times since recovering from the hamstring injury which kept him out of action during pre-season.

Onana is working alone at the club’s Carrington training ground today, and while he is said to be in good physical shape, he is not ready to face Arsenal.

Turkey international goalie Altay Bayindir will start in goal against the Gunners, and he will be desperate to impress Man United head coach Ruben Amorim.

The Old Trafford club are desperate to hit the ground running this term and victory over the North London club in their opening Premier League game of 2025-26 will be a huge boost.

Being without Onana is a big blow given that he has missed just four league games since joining Man United from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023.
