Jadon Sancho's hefty wage demands are reportedly jeopardising his exit from Manchester United.
The winger has found himself frozen out at Old Trafford under the management of Ruben Amorim after previously falling out with Erik ten Hag. Sancho was anticipated to seal a £25m switch to Chelsea following his loan stint last season, but the Blues decided against finalising that deal.
Recently, Italian heavyweights Roma have shown interest in the player. According to reports from Italy, the Serie A club have agreed on a €23million (£19.8m) fee for Sancho. While United are content with this sum, it's Sancho's personal terms that are causing a delay, as reported by Mail Online.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund star earns approximately £250k per week at Old Trafford, which equates to around £13m annually. Roma, however, are unwilling to match these wages, hence the current impasse.
Roma have been trying to persuade Sancho to agree to a five-year contract at the Stadio Olimpico to spread out his salary, but he has yet to accept these conditions.

In the wake of Sancho's current stand-off with Roma and United, the Red Devils made their position clear as they named Jadon Sancho bottom of the squad list on their matchday programme against Arsenal.
Sancho did not have a squad number stated after Manuel Ugarte took his No.25 shirt last summer when he joined from PSG.
Recently, Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini expressed the need for more signings but acknowledged the club's financial limitations. He stated: "This is a team that has quality and we must try to improve it along with the club. There is great clarity with the club and we share ideas on what needs to be done.

"We'll see what happens over the next two weeks. Koné is undoubtedly a very good player, it would be a loss. We must see what we can do from now to the end of the transfer session, because everyone knows the Financial Fair Play situation."
He continued: "We've not had anything new coming in for three weeks now. If possible, we should get some new players without losing them."
"I have been very clear with the club on what needs to be done. Now we just hope that we can do it."
