Andre Onana is not part of the Manchester United squad to face Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim’s side host Arsenal in their Premier League opener at Old Trafford. Amorim will be without the services of first-choice goalkeeper Onana, with Altay Bayindir set to start in goal.
Onana sustained a hamstring injury in pre-season and despite returning to training in recent weeks, has been deemed unfit to face Arsenal.
The Athletic are reporting that the Cameroon international trained alone at the club’s Carrington Training Ground today as he steps up his recovery from the issue.
Turkish deputy Bayindir will start the clash in just his fifth Premier League appearance for the Red Devils.
