Ruben Amorim has made a huge call surrounding Andre Onana for Manchester United's Premier League opener.
The Red Devils kick their season off against Arsenal on Sunday (17 August) - but their Cameroonian shot-stopper isn't part of the squad. Onana, 29, has been dealing with an injury and was considered a doubt ahead of the fixture.
However, there had been reports Onana could be back in the squad for their opening clash at Old Trafford. The shot-stopper had been ahead of schedule in his rehabilitation at United's new Carrington training facility.
On Sunday there was no sign of Onana in the club - off the back of reports the Red Devils had been looking for a sensational swoop to bring David De Gea back to Old Trafford.
Amorim's side have also been linked to Gianluigi Donnarumma - but they will face competiton from Manchester City for his signature, who themselves left their first choice keeper out of their Premier League opener.

Instead, Altay Bayındır, will start between the sticks for the Red Devils.
"Onana is bad, but Altay is so much worse as well. Could get ugly," one fan sighed. While a second said: "Fair and I hope he’s being lined up to be sold..."
"This is good news then you remember who our number 2 is," a third joked. And another added: "How is a GK not on the agenda this summer..."
Elsewhere there was no room for new signing Benjamin Sesko - who named on the bench by Amorim. Sesko signed on the dotted line last Saturday - and was presented to the Old Trafford crowd ahead of their friendly with Fiorentina.
Instead, Amorim has opted for Mason Mount, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha as his front three.
