Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly interested in Brentford defender Nathan Collins. The centre-back is attracting plenty of interest in the final few weeks of the summer transfer window, with several sides seemingly plotting moves.
United have splashed the cash on attacking reinforcements over the past few months, with Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha arriving for substantial fees to overhaul their frontline.
Ruben Amorim’s side now appear to have turned their attention to shoring up their defence, with the Daily Mail reporting that the Red Devils are interested in Brentford skipper Collins, though it could prove a tough task to negotiate a deal to acquire his services.
The Bees are expected to be ‘highly reluctant’ to part ways with the 24-year-old, though there is every chance that a bidding war breaks out for their skipper given the sheer volume of interest in the Irishman.
