Ipswich Town defender Leif Davis has spoken out on his future amid links with a potential transfer away from the club.
The left-back has been part of the Tractor Boys squad since their League One days, making the jump all the way to the Premier League.
Leif Davis has plenty of quality with his crossing from the flank and on set-pieces, which saw him land the most assists in his previous Championship campaign.
With Ipswich’s relegation back to the second tier, there have been questions over the future of the 25-year-old in the remainder of the summer transfer window.

Leif Davis reveals he is committed to Ipswich Town amid Nottingham Forest transfer rumours
With Ipswich’s relegation, there have been some big outgoings at Portman Road, with players moving on to take on new challenges.
Liam Delap has joined Chelsea, while Omari Hutchinson moved to Nottingham Forest as two of the stars from the Premier League made some switches.
The latest rumours have seen Nottingham Forest linked with Leif Davis, as they look towards a potential double swoop from East Anglia.
With that said, the defender has since spoken out on his future in a conversation with EADT.
Speaking after Ipswich’s draw with Southampton, he said: “What you see is what you see, but I’m fully committed to being an Ipswich Town player.
“I love it here, I want to do everything I can to get the club back to the Premier League. I want to keep pushing on and improve myself with the manager.”
It comes as a boost for the Blues, who will have one of their key players remaining in the team, so long as there isn’t a twist in the transfer market.

What Leif Davis thinks about Ipswich transfer exits
Davis staying at Ipswich would be a boost to Kieran McKenna and his side, given his importance to how they play.
The defender often acts more like a wing-back, getting high up the pitch to rain crosses into the box for his teammates.

It pushes other players into other positions, but some of those he has played with have now moved on.
Speaking to EADT about those who have moved on, Davis added: “That’s their choice, but my choice is that I want to be here, working hard.
“I know I can improve a lot more here than in other places if I went, especially knowing the manager. He knows how I want to play and what I need to work on, because I’ve been here for four years.
“I’m going to keep my head down and keep going, doing everything I can to push the team back to the Premier League.”
It remains to be seen if that resolve will be tested, but Ipswich will be keen to strengthen the squad now, rather than weaken it.
