Ruben Amorim has hinted Benjamin Sesko could have an impact from the bench against Arsenal.
Amorim has picked a defensive side to face Arsenal, with Diogo Dalot starting at right wing-back, despite Amad predominantly playing in that role throughout pre-season this summer.
Casemiro has been selected to partner Bruno Fernandes in midfield, with Mason Mount, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha in the front three.
Sesko has been named on the bench and Amorim hinted the substitutes have been picked to ensure United end the game strongly. "It’s going to be like this during the season, we have more options," he told MUTV.
"We have to choose the right players for each game. Sometimes it’s not about just who starts but we need to imagine how we are going to finish the game.
"We don’t know how the game is going to be played, but we need to have options to change things during the game and we have those players."
Amorim continued: "They [Sesko and Zirkzee] have shared a few trainings with us, Sesko changed his life in one week so we try to choose the best team to start and in the end we will see."
He added about United's fans: "They are always important. The most important thing is for us to perform and to run and to fight, if we do that the fans will be with us."
Arsenal finished second in the Premier League last season and Mikel Arteta's side are looking to mount another title challenge.
United drew 1-1 with Arsenal when they visited Old Trafford in March.
