The Bees started the season with a heavy loss.
Nottingham Forest beat Keith Andrews' Brentford 3-1 on Sunday at the City Ground.
Andrews, in his first match as a head coach, experienced a difficult afternoon on the opening weekend of the Premier League.
The former Republic of Ireland midfielder previously worked as the team's set-piece coach. He was promoted to the top job after Thomas Frank left to become Tottenham Hotspur manager earlier this summer.
Brentford didn't concede from a set-piece until the 11th game of the campaign last season. Yet, Andrews saw his side fall behind after just five minutes when Chris Wood scored following a Forest corner.

Dan Ndoye doubled the home side's lead after 42 minutes, before Wood scored his second of the game in stoppage time at the end of the first half. Caoimhin Kelleher, on his Brentford debut, could do little to prevent the tie from being effectively over by the break.
Igor Thiago scored a consolation penalty for Andrews' team in the second half, but the former Ireland midfielder was given a brutal introduction to management.

Andrews faces a baptism of fire in his first head coach role.
The Bees lost their long-serving manager, Frank, their best player from last season, Bryan Mbuemo, and their captain, Christian Nørgaard, during the summer transfer window.

The former Ireland midfielder, 44, faces Aston Villa next weekend in his first home game in charge, and will be desperate to record a positive result.
Andrews worked as Ireland assistant boss under Stephen Kenny before moving into coaching in the UK, and eventually becoming Brentford boss.
