Match report: Derby County U18 0-2 Nottingham Forest U18

Derby County’s Under-18s started their 2025/26 Under-18 Premier League - North season with a 2-0 loss against local rivals Nottingham Forest.

A goal in each half condemned Bradley Johnson’s side, which included a number of first-year scholars in the starting line-up, to defeat at Moor Farm Training Ground.

Kanye Bradshaw put Forest in front six minutes before half-time to open the scoring and give the visitors the advantage.

The Reds’ lead was doubled just after the hour mark by Jayden Powell to seal the victory.

Despite enjoying the better of the possession over the course of the 90 minutes, the Rams were unable to turn their dominance into clear-cut chances on a frustrating afternoon.
