Arsenal fans have all joked PGMOL think Eberechi Eze plays for the Gunners after his free-kick was ruled out by VAR.
Eze, who has been linked to Arsenal this summer, was among the Crystal Palace starters for their opening weekend clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. And the Englishman thought he broke the deadlock with a delightful free-kick.
However, the goal was chalked off after VAR intervened - and the Premier League Match Centre's X account posted: "After VAR review, the referee overturned the original decision of goal to Crystal Palace.
"Referee announcement: 'After review, away number six is less than one metre away from the wall as the shot is taken. Therefore, it's an indirect free kick and a disallowed goal'."
And Arsenal fans all made the same joke on social media.

"PGMOL already treating Eze like an Arsenal player," one fan shared. While a second joked: "Well that confirms it, with decisions like that from the PGMOL, Eze must be joining Arsenal..."
And another added: "Can only assume @FA_PGMOL still thinks Eze is coming to Arsenal..."
Eze wouldn't find the net again as the game played out into a drab draw, with the Crystal Palace star subbed off by Oliver Glasner ten minutes before the full-time whistle.
