Former Ole Miss and now New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart keeps making a name for himself during the preseason.
After flashing in his debut last week in Buffalo, Dart did it again Saturday night in East Rutherford against the New York Jets.
Dart finished the game leading three drives, with two resulting in touchdowns, while completing 14-of-16 passes for 137 yards that included a 20-yard touchdown Dart also added a one-yard touchdown on the ground in the Giants' 31-12 win over the Jets.

"The first thing it starts off with is, obviously, the guys I'm out there on the field with," Dart said Saturday, via Giants.com. "And then my coaches putting me in a really good situation to succeed. There's a lot of conversations—like I think it's really unique when ... rookies being able to have input to the coaches, that's not like, very common at times."
"I think that our relationship from a player to coaches has been top notch since I got here. They put me in good situations, they let me express the things that I like, that I feel confident in running, and then the tempo drives. I felt confident in that."
In two preseason games this month, Dart has completed 74 percent of his passes (26/35) for 291 passing yards, while accounting for four total touchdowns with no turnovers.
The Ole Miss product will suit back up for his last preseason game as a rookie on a short week. Thursday, August 21, Dart's Giants will play host to the New England Patriots.
"We pulled those up when we got done, and I talked to him last night. That was awesome to see. (Dart's) doing really well and played well, and he's really enjoying it. Talked about his relationships with the other quarterbacks there. I shared that with our quarterbacks today about how a united room, helping each other can be so beneficial. It's great to see him play well."
