Everton travel to Elland Road on Monday evening as they take on newly-promoted Leeds United.
David Moyes has been eager to get his transfer business done before the new 2025/26 Premier League season.
Whilst there’s still plenty to do, Everton have signed Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this month, with both likely to feature against Leeds.
Moyes is still trying to sign Tyler Dibling from Southampton, whilst a right-back is also being eyed after Ashley Young’s departure.
Ahead of Monday’s game, let’s take a look at how Everton and Leeds’ transfer business compares.

How Everton’s signings compare to Leeds United
Everton have made six new signings this summer transfer window and Moyes has admitted he’d like another four, if possible.
“We need greater numbers and we want to continue adding to what we have,” the Scotsman said.

“We’re short in certain areas, we’re okay in other departments. We’ve got good business done, but I would like to have some more if possible.”
Asked if he would like three or four more additions, Moyes said: “I could say even more possibly, but I would settle for any of those numbers if I can get them.”
Leeds United, meanwhile, have spent marginally more than Everton, with seven new faces through the door at Thorp Arch.

David Moyes responds to Tyler Dibling speculation
Moyes will hope Everton’s next signing is Tyler Dibling, with the Southampton winger keen on a move to Merseyside.
The Toffees have received a counter-offer from Saints, which can be accepted at any point, instantly activating an agreement.
When asked about Dibling in his pre-match press conference, Moyes kept his cards close to his chest.
“Like many managers in the Premier League getting deals done has been really difficult. That’s one name you’ve mentioned but we’ve bid for many players and not been able to get it over the line. There’s many clubs who could say something similar.”
Malick Fofana has also been linked to Everton, although, he appears to be holding out for a Champions League suitor.
