Starting with the 2025–26 season, NBC is rolling out "Coast 2 Coast Tuesday," which pushes the second game of NBA doubleheaders to 11 PM ET, via LegionHoops.
The announcement has already drawn criticism on social media, with fans pointing out that, with commercials included, the games will likely start around 11:30 PM ET.
The first matchup affected by this change will be in Week 2 on October 28, when the Golden State Warriors host the Los Angeles Clippers. In total, 19 games will be played at 11 PM ET next season.
The 2025–26 NBA season tips off on October 21, with reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder hosting Kevin Durant’s Houston Rockets on ring night.
