Chicago Bulls guard Coby White is predicted to be on the trade block at the upcoming NBA trade deadline.
This past NBA trade deadline saw plenty of shocking moves, with Luka Doncic’s trade to the Los Angeles Lakers taking center stage just a couple of days before the deadline.

In the upcoming season, NBA fans can once again expect some major moves at the trade deadline, with several names already being mentioned as potential candidates to be on the block.
One player predicted to be traded is Chicago Bulls guard Coby White, who enters the season on an expiring $12.9 million contract.
"The only argument against the Chicago Bulls shopping Coby White at the deadline is that this franchise almost never does the shrewd, difficult thing. Every other factor points to the 25-year-old guard changing teams," Bleacher Report’s Grant Hughes noted.

"Chicago probably should have dealt White at last year’s deadline, or even the one before. It was immediately evident that his bargain contract was going to be too small for a realistic extension, and that unrestricted free agency was nearly inevitable."
"Acquiring teams will offer less now than they would have when White had more years of team control on his deal. But Chicago faces the possibility of losing him for nothing next summer and should therefore look to move him to the highest bidder by February," Hughes added.
White, the No. 7 pick in 2019, has developed into Chicago’s main offensive weapon, averaging 20.4 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.7 rebounds during the 2024–25 season.
