[According to Globo Esporte](https://ge.globo.com/futebol/times/palmeiras/noticia/2025/08/17/empolgado-com-o-palmeiras-carlos-miguel-ameniza-passado-no-corinthians-futebol-e-assim.ghtml?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter), the final agreement will see Palmeiras pay €6m for 80% of his rights, with Forest retaining 20% and a sell-on clause for any future profit.

Carlos Miguel is scheduled to undergo medicals at Palmeiras’ training ground before putting pen to paper, and made no effort to hide his delight.

Speaking on arrival at Guarulhos Airport, the goalkeeper revealed: _“I’m happy to be back in Brazil and to join Palmeiras. Now it’s time for the exams. I’m excited for this season and the next. I’m very motivated.”_

The former Corinthians man downplayed the rivalry between his old club and his new one. _“Football is like that. It never waits for tomorrow. Players have to be prepared for all of life’s challenges. I see this as something normal,”_ he told Globo Esporte.

The goalkeeper leaves Forest after just three appearances in England, but the Premier League side still stand to benefit if his career takes off in Brazil.
